Amid increasingly strict international regulations on greenhouse gas emissions from maritime shipping, OKM has secured the world’s top market share for valves used in ship exhaust gas cleaning systems. In recognition of its growing global market achievements, OKM was named to the 2020 Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100 List by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. More recently, we have expanded into the market for LNG valves, and we are developing valves for clean energy sources such as ammonia and hydrogen.
